the ski doo's blow up becouse the mfg has them running so lean to try and keep up with the fuel economy of the yamaha's and keep up with the new emmisions restrictions, and it could never happen to the nytro because it is a 4 stroke do you even know what that means? yamaha holds the guiness book of worlds record in most milage 42,000 yes thats right 42,000 miles on yamaha vector and the record for most miles in one season 12,000. the motor has never been opened. yamaha also holds the world record for the highest top speed and the world record in grass drags with the lowest e/t and the highest top speed. youtube search "syracuse nationals" and you can see it happen. as for the 4 stroke on hills in the video i think they are racing up a ski hill, duh. and as for the turbo every video i have, the guys have turbos on their sleds wether it is a 2 or 4 stroke. do you really think chris burandt can cat walk a sled like that that is not turbo'd??? see the big ass snorkle sticking out the side of his artic cat. as for my age it is 36 father of two. As for me to get a life I am working right now at the company i own so i can sit here all day long making money to do this. i never post in the evening since i do have a life. as for me trying to impress my friends no one even knows i am on here so i dont know what the heck ur talking about. the only thing i see on any of your posts is you trying to sound like a know it all and bashing everyone. even your fellow country men tell you to shut up. i dont see anyone on here telling me to shut up. as for weight my sled is lighter than a comperable 2 stroke wet, meaning filled with all its fluids. your 14 dude and know nothing, you have done no research on any of your claims. as you can see i can back mine up with facts. and anyway where are the pics of this "race sled" you have? you dont even have a sled do you? again nice sled shovel i like how you made it your own, looks sharp
a post i found on the great ski doo
Posted: Sun Apr 19, 2009 6:17 pm Post subject: My 09 600 Renegade E-tec blew up today
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, I was working today and flying up a lake with the Ski-doo 600 E-tec and the engine seized up. I was about 20 miles up the lake and I had no choice, but to start walking. I hit the start button and it would not turn over at all (seized). So, while thinking about the long walk ahead of me, I hit the starter again and it fired up on one cylinder so I turned around to head back until it would seize up again. This happened every 500 metres and I would have to wait 10 min for it to cool down. Finally, about 2 miles from the truck it quit, never to go again. A guy showed up on his RX-1 and we got the sled back to the truck.
2100 kms
3 jugs of oil
15 mpg (Cdn)
Blown engine
Hard to handle
Not impressed
Didn't mind getting towed by a Yamaha
It would have been a mesmerizing ride on the lake today, bright sunny day, the lake (which is 40 miles long) was table top. Shoulda brought my Yamahas.

Everyone watch out lshannon9 has worked at a Ski-Doo shop since he was 13, he is now 14 and Knows everything. I agree the 600 rev is a pile, I smoke all my buddy's 600revs everytime we race to a 100mph and I also beat a Rev800 to a 100mph but he didnt stop. he was a little embarassed after talking so much shit infront of all his friends on how Yamaha's suck. I am on a 07 Phazer 500 4 stroke yamaha. And I will Race anyone to a gas station, unless they have a yamaha. I have seen 9 broke down Ski-Doo's in one day of riding. They deffinitly have a belt alignment issue and what's up with the body panels popping off. By the way nice sled Pickupashovel. Looks sharp. About Us
